It took me a long time to choose a new SLR camera when I was on Amazon.co.uk a few months ago, but I eventually decided to go with the Canon EOS 7D because it seemed like everyone was saying that it was better in one way or another than all of the other high end cameras. After using it quite a few times now in different settings, it is easily my favorite camera and I think that I made the right decision.

I wouldn’t usually mention auto focus as my favorite feature on such a feature rich camera, but I have to because it is extremely fast and accurate. If not for this feature, I would probably be taking much worse pictures than I have been. Right when I hit the button to take a picture, the camera does all of the work and makes the lighting perfect and all of the details pop in the best of ways. I figure other people who own this camera like this feature as much as I do.

I really like the boxy design of the Canon EOS 7D because it fits in my hands very well and I can tell that it was built to withstand a little bit of punishment. It is nice to have a camera that not only takes fantastic pictures, but also is well built so I don’t have to worry so much about it braking. The truth is that this is a huge investment and I would worry all of the time if I thought there was a good chance it would brake if I accidentally dropped it once.

I wish that they had made this camera a little bit easier to use for people who don’t have much experience with SLR cameras, but it didn’t take me a very long time to start to get the hang of it. The manual does go over everything that is included in the camera, but you have to be patient because it is a different language if you aren’t used to what they talk you through.

Yes, this is a very expensive camera, but if you want to take some of the best pictures that you have ever seen, you have to invest in the best. I have tested out some of the best cameras out there and this one has some features that are unmatched by any of the others.

What made me buy the Canon EOS 60D over every other SLR camera on Amazon.co.uk was that it was one of the only ones with all of the features that I wanted and absolutely everyone who reviewed it said that they loved it. The price might have been a bit higher than I was planning on spending, but I figured that if I liked it as much as I expected to, it’d pay itself off sooner rather than later.

What I could tell right away when I first started using the Canon EOS 60D was that it was extremely fast at taking a picture and reloading for the next one. That is the most important feature next to picture quality, in my opinion, because in most cases I need to be able to take multiple pictures of the same thing and need it to load back up as quick as possible. The best thing about it is that there is no loss in quality no matter how fast you need it to take pictures.

The ability to customize so many things to make the camera work how you want it to is possibly my favorite thing about the 60D next to picture quality. I know that most camera companies try to focus on that aspect of their cameras these days, but most don’t get it right the way that Canon did here. It makes the camera great because I know that I can tweak a couple of things for different environments and get the effects that I want.

What this camera does lack is the auto focus feature while filming videos, which is pretty surprising to me considering it is there when you take pictures. I haven’t really had blurry videos come out, but I would feel way more confident in each short film that I shoot if I knew that the auto focus was working in the background. Because it isn’t there, I have to make sure that I don’t turn too fast to take things out of focus.

I am very happy with myself for choosing the Canon EOS 60D over all of the other SLR options because it is exactly what I wanted. Sure, there could be other great ones out there, but I feel like the only way to go from here is down. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great new SLR camera.

I bought the Canon PowerShot SD940IS off of Amazon.co.uk because I had owned a PowerShot before and loved it and heard that the 720p videos that you could shoot with this one came out very nice. I bought this as my family camera, but it quickly became my primary camera because of its ability to consistently take great shots. I have been very impressed with basically all of the features and think that I made the best choice available to me.

When they say that this is camera has a wide angled lens, they are not lying. I can see way more to the left and the right than I could with my old camera, which is great because there is more to look at in each and every picture. The quality is easily the best that I have ever had in a camera.

One thing that I was a little worried about was the overall quality of the high definition movies that it could shoot, but those worries were quickly put to rest when I first shot a short film of my family at the beach. That was my first time even using the feature and was blown away by how nice everything looked. The LCD screen did make it look good, but it was on my TV where I really saw all of the great details of each scene.

I am not much for taking pictures with any camera’s auto mode, but I did give it a try with this one and it isn’t very consistent. Most of the pictures that it takes in auto mode are nice quality, but there is a least one in every batch that comes out a bit blurry. This could have something to do with the settings that I have on the camera, so maybe it has more to do with my lack of knowledge in this area rather than the camera itself messing up the pictures. Either way, not a very big deal to me.

The Canon PowerShot SD940IS might not be a high end camera, but that certainly doesn’t mean that people aren’t going to be satisfied with the pictures and videos that it takes. All that you can’t do with this camera is shoot from very far distances. I really like it and it is nice to finally have a camera that I know I can count on.

I wanted a new digital camera because my old one just kept taking worse pictures over the years, so I decided to get this Canon PowerShot. I read on Amazon.co.uk that it had some nice features and that it was one of the best in its price range. Right now, I definitely think that is a true statement.

There might not be a view finder feature on this camera, but the auto mode works just as well and makes it so the settings change for each picture to get the best quality possible. I honestly never take it off of auto mode because it is so accurate. It allows me to look for what I want to take a picture of rather than trying to get the settings just right.

Unlike most of the cameras in this price range, the flash on the SD1300IS is absolutely fantastic because it really does make pictures in darker lighting look great. I have used quite a few point and shoot cameras and none of them had a flash that was as good as this one is. Not having to worry about the flash actually ruining pictures is a very nice change.

The stock battery is the only thing that I can complain about because it doesn’t last very long compared to other digital camera batteries that I have used. I am always confused by the reasoning behind including a sub par battery and then offering a better battery for extra money. Don’t get me wrong, though. The battery is okay and I haven’t run into a situation yet where I need the better one. I just think they could have offered the better one with the package.

I am very happy that I chose to buy the PowerShot SD1300IS because it does everything that I need it to do and it is very easy to use. There are a lot of reason why I would recommend this camera over a lot of the other ones; the main one being that it is user friendly so you can just focus on shooting pictures instead of getting all of the settings right. For this price, there is no reason to get anything else.

I went onto Amazon.co.uk to find a solid camera, but wasn’t quite ready to shell out all of the money to get an SLR yet. I decided to buy the Nikon Coolpix L110 because so many people were saying that it took near professional shots and because I couldn’t pass up such a great price for a new, full featured camera like this. I am glad that I made that choice because I have enjoyed every minute that I have used the the L110 for a number of reasons.

I had never used a camera with the view finder feature before, but I can’t imagine that there are too many cameras out there that have a better version of this feature than this one. The huge LCD screen narrows in on the best shot possible and then all I have to do is click the button to take a great picture. I do like to manually choose my shots most of the time, but I do use this feature a lot and just love it.

One thing that I noticed right away when I started using the L110 is that there are so many more vibrant colors in each shot than I was used to with my old cameras. I had used cameras where the pictures came out in high quality, but nothing that captured and accentuated colors the way that this one does. I have a new appreciation for nature because of the way this camera makes it look.

I do think that the camera is pretty easy to use, but I think they could have made a few less menus for the user to go through for a little bit more convenience. It isn’t so bad that I get lost, it is just that those few extra clicks could keep me from getting the perfect shot. I don’t have anything major to complain about, so I thought I would point this out.

On the overall, the Nikon Coolpix L110 is the camera that you want if you want professional looking pictures for a percentage of the price of a professional camera. I plan on taking care of it so it can be my number one camera for years to come.

I went onto Amazon.co.uk not too long ago looking for a simple camera to take with me on hiking trips and family trips, but I ended up deciding to go all out by getting the Nikon D3100 SLR camera because it looked like the perfect camera. I had always wanted to have the ability to shoot professional quality photos, so once I saw this one listed, I just had to have it. It was a lot more money than I had planned on spending, but so far it has been worth every penny.

Of course, I was most curious to see the picture quality that the D3100 could produce because the people who reviewed it made it seem like it was outstanding. Well, I have not been let down at all by the quality because not one of my pictures has come out below great quality. I have tested it out in both dark and light settings, and the camera adjusts itself to the best settings that it can to get all of the details to pop out. That is exactly what I wanted from this camera and that alone gets it an A+ in my book.

Considering this is a top ten SLR camera, I still can’t believe that it came at such a low price. I have used cameras that were twice as expensive as this one was and they definitely were not as good as the D3100. This is easily the best deal that I have ever gotten on an electronic item, so that makes me feel even better about my decision to buy it.

The only problem that I have with this camera is that it will only take its own lenses, which makes sense in a way, but I would have liked to have been able to pay a little bit less for my lenses. Most camera companies allow for custom lenses to be attached to their cameras, so it is odd to me that Nikon chooses not to go this route. Anyways, it isn’t a big deal because the camera itself is better than the other options.

As I mentioned above, I feel like I got the deal of a lifetime here because I like absolutely everything about the camera and would trade it for anything. If you are looking to take professional shots and don’t want to shell out all of the money that other companies want for their SLR cameras, I am confident that you will love this one as much as I do.

I bought the Olympus Evolt E620 when I was on Amazon.co.uk a couple of weeks ago because I had heard that it was a fully featured SLR camera at the price of an entry level SLR. What I ended up finding out was that it is even better than advertised. There are so many features that I like on it and I continue to be amazed by how easy it is to use.

One thing that a lot of the SLR cameras lack is the ability to shoot high quality pictures in very high resolutions, but that is not a problem with the E620. I have taken quite a few poster sized pictures and they have all come out looking great. There is no loss in quality at all when I take large pictures, which is important to me because that is something that I am going to need to do a lot.

The wireless flash feature is one of the coolest things that I have ever seen on a camera because it ensures that each picture in low light conditions comes out as naturally as possible. I have used flash in the past, of course, but nothing like this. The quality stays perfect even in night photos, which is something that I had never seen from one of my cameras before.

Even though this doesn’t effect the pictures that I take in any way, I think they should have put a little bit more work into the LCD screen because the pictures are lot more crisp than they end up looking on the screen. At first, I thought that was what my pictures looked like, but luckily that is not the truth. The pictures are excellent, but you just can’t see all of the details on the LCD screen. That’s not enough to take points away, but I hope they make a better screen next time around.

As you could probably tell, I like this camera a lot and am finally having fun taking pictures and shooting videos again. I can’t imagine anyone not having fun with this camera because there are so many top notch features and the pictures are pro quality. This easily deserves five stars.

I bought this Panasonic Lumix because it looked like a beautiful camera in the pictures on Amazon.co.uk and because it was known for being a great all around camera. There were quite a few for me to choose from in this price range, but this one came with all of the features that I like. After owning it for about two months now, I have to pat myself on the back for buying such a great camera. It does a lot more than I thought it could and the pictures that it takes are all very crisp.

The intelligence of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 is easily my favorite thing about it because it allows me to focus on finding the perfect thing to take a picture of and then I get let the camera do the rest of the work. This is awesome because I really didn’t want to have to go through failing a bunch of times before I was able to take great pictures.

I know that a lot of people were a little bit upset that the price was dropped soon after the camera was available to the public, but even the original price was fantastic to me. Considering this camera has the same abilities of some of the high end cameras that cost twice or three times as much, this is the type of bargain that doesn’t come around very often. I look at the price that I paid, which was the original price, and I think that I got a huge discount.

One feature that is lacking is the ability to take pictures while shooting videos, which isn’t a big deal to me, but I do think that it is something that a lot of people expect from better cameras these days. Because it is so quick to respond to me pushing the shutter button, I don’t think I will have a problem switching modes to get the shots that I want.

I now fully understand why so many people gave the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 a great review because there is very little not to love about it. It is easy to use right out of the box, it is fast, and the picture quality is as good as anyone could hope for it to be. This is easily my favorite camera that I have ever owned and I think that I will keep it as my primary camera for at least a couple of years.

I bought the Pentax K-x because I really wanted to own an SLR camera, but I didn’t want to pay the extremely high prices that all of the other ones on Amazon.co.uk were sold for. I knew that I was taking a risk, but after reading a couple of great reviews on it, I decided that it was the best choice for me. So far, it has not let me down at all.

I expected the picture quality to be nice, but I didn’t know that it was going to be so great in low light settings. That is usually what cameras that don’t cost thousands lack, but they got it right with this one. It is so nice that I am able to finally trust my camera no matter what the conditions are.

I can’t mention the pros without talking about the super low price that I got this camera for because in no way did that reflect the overall performance of this camera. Now I really don’t understand why some people choose to pay five or ten times more for a camera that can maybe do a little bit more than this one can. I’m glad that I didn’t make that mistake.

The camera itself is great, but the LCD screen should have been built a little bit better because you really can’t get a very good idea of what your pictures are going to end up looking like due to its low resolution. The pictures on the screen lack a bit of detail so I can never be completely sure that I got the best shot until I transfer them over to my computer. The good thing is that I haven’t made a huge mistake yet due to not seeing something on the screen before I accepted a shot.

It is easy to like this Pentax K-x SLR camera because it does what most of the other high end SLR cameras do and it came at a fraction of the price. The picture quality is great and I am sure everyone else who gets this camera will be as impressed as I have been with its ease of use. To me, this is an underrated camera that deserves to be in the high end category.

I take a lot of pictures as sporting events, so I decided to buy the Sony Alpha SLTA55VL when I was on Amazon.co.uk a few weeks ago because it got great reviews and it had the continuous fps feature that I needed. I have to be honest that I didn’t know if my expectations were too high or not, but luckily for me, it has been everything that I wanted and more.

Of course, I needed the continuous fps feature to be excellent because that is the main reason why I bought the Sony Alpha, and I have definitely not been let down in the least. I set it to take ten pictures at a time and am very impressed with how they stay as sharp as they are when I’m only taking a single shot. The other thing that makes this feature great is that it responds very quickly the moment that you push the button for it to start taking the pictures.

The picture quality was as good as I expected it to be, but what has really impressed me since the first day that I received the Sony Alpha in the mail is how great the videos come out. The full HD videos look so good on my television that I find myself shooting more videos than pictures at times. I shot a lot of videos on my family’s recent beach vacation and the water and sky came out better than any videos I have ever shot in my life. Very cool underrated feature.

There is nothing to be considered a con as far as the camera is concerned, in my opinion, but I am surprised that they didn’t include a battery that can last a bit longer than this one does. It almost feels that this was overlooked during the creation of the camera because most cameras in this category come with much better batteries. I won’t take points away for that, though, because I like the camera way too much.

I highly recommend the Sony Alpha to anyone who wants a camera that has the ability to take consistently fantastic pictures and that is very easy to use. It is one of those electronic items that you know you are going to love from the very first day that you own it.
